Mar. 22nd, 2024 02:35 pmIt being equinox-ish, I put a bunch of seeds in pots. A bit later this year than last, early March was too soon. One has great hopes of course but I don't know what I'll do if most of these germinate... give them away, I imagine.

Date: 2024-03-23 08:16 pm (UTC)I am considering accepting the "pollinator flower" seed package the town is offering, but worry that I'll probably kill them off (the flowers, maybe not the pollinators). I couldn't even get milkweed to grow the last time I tried.

Date: 2024-03-23 10:30 pm (UTC)Well why not take the seeds? Worst that happens is they die. Consider that the vast majority of seeds in the world die, or we'd be constantly overrun with plants. Throw them at the ground and water it a bit and then walk away. Water it once a week if it's dry. Or do some guerrilla gardening and throw them on some "waste" land that's been left torn up from construction.
